4 Steps to Your Ultimate Success

Have you been wanting to do something in your life, but simply haven't done it yet? Or, have you tried to do something, but "failed" at it? Well, congratulations -- you've found the perfect article to help you succeed! This information is simple, but powerful, and if you follow it precisely you will be greatly rewarded. Success is easy when you have the right formula.

Step 1 to Success
Know what it is that you want. Know your end result, your goal. The more specific you can get, the better. If you ask yourself what you want, and you get an answer like, "I don't know," then ask yourself what you'd like as an outcome. Picture yourself in the scene of your most beneficial outcome. Feel what it would feel like. Let your imagination take you to a place of experience. Experience what it would be like for you to have, be, or do the end result. Again, the more specific the goal, the easier it will be for success.

Step 2 to Success
Take some action. Any action, at first. Simply getting up and stretching would be a start! Once you get truly focused, however, you will be drawn toward an action that is in the direction of your ultimate success. For example, if your goal is to land a job as a chef, a good beginning action would be to go online and do some research about excellent restaurants in your area. Another good action would be to find a person who is already employed as a chef for an informational interview. Brainstorm about possible actions that would relate to your goal and then choose the best ones.

Step 3 to Success
Pay attention to the results of your actions from step 2. Your ultimate success depends on you reaching for the best feeling you can find. For example, stretching could make you feel a bit more energized, therefore giving you more juice to take action on your next step. However, if you are doing something that is getting you frustrated, then stop that action and choose another one. It's not that the action is "bad," so you don't need to judge it, just stop the action for now, and go on to another one. The point is simply to notice, not to judge. If it feels bad, stop. If it feels good, keep going.

Step 4 to Success
Be flexible with your approach. If what you are doing (your actions) are not working, simply go on to the next action on your list. It's a matter of letting your emotions guide you, and not about forcing anything. If you are forcing or pushing something, it will only end up tiring you out. It's when you relax that your success is inevitable. Many believe that you have to push and force in order to be a success, but actually the opposite is true, and many succeed DESPITE all the pushing and forcing. It's in the moment of allowing, or relaxing, that success happens.

These four steps are the basis for all success. You can decide on the detailed steps, because each path will be different, but the basic course is always the same. You must know what you want, and use that goal as a basis for your actions. Notice the results you get from your actions and how they make you feel, and if it does n0t feel good, be flexible and go on to your next action. The action part is what makes life fun and exciting. We are not here to sit around and do nothing. We are here to enjoy life and experience all the fun things we can do in life. Today, come up with one thing that you want to achieve or succeed in. It can be as simple or grandiose as you want. Then, decide to take two actions that will take you closer to your goal. Just two actions will keep it manageable, and by actually taking action on them, you will feel closer to your success. It doesn't have to be huge, it just has to be something.
